Settings & layout - Footer

Footer area is for customization of the footer layout in FRONTEND of the website.

Footer colors, social media links, footer menu and contact information and even the copyright and SSL certificate logo, all can be customized by you.
The footer menu is organized in four sections: Information, Customer Service, Extras and My Account.
The Information section includes About Us and the website legal information (Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, Cookies).
The Customer Service includes the Contact Us link to easy access of contact form and the Shipping policy and Returns policy.
The Extras section includes the links to New Arrivals, Special Prices, Featured Products and Bulk discounts pages. It is an easy access to website promotions and they double the top menu.
The last menu section is the My Account with quick links to My account, Order History and Help & Support pages.
The menu section is flacked at the right by the company contact details to make it easy for the user to contact you.

Settings which are empty, will not be displayed in footer (FRONTEND) (for example social media fields).

To setup or change a setting, click the Edit button in line with that setting. A pop-up window will open to allow you to input your data.
The window has as title Edit setting to let you know you are in edit zone. Also this window always points out the Area and the Name of the setting you are going to change. The main point of this window is to allow you to write your details in regards with current setting. This is the only editable field. Add or make here the changes you need.
The editable fields in this area are: text fields, radio buttons, image uploader and color picker.
Click the Update button to make the change or click the Cancel button to abandon changes. The Update button and Cancel button will close the setting window and update the list accordingly.
The Close button (top right corner) has same result as Cancel has.


Show above footer line

The footer can be built with a supplementary line where you can highlight two of the features of your website: Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure line.
If checked No button means that you hide the Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure line.
The Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure line is displayed (if applicable) at the top of the footer on the length of the website (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.

Footer top line background color

Here you set the background color for the Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure line if applicable.
The Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure appears at the top of footer (FRONTEND). It is recommended to set a color different from the footer color to make it obvious. Choose one of your brand colors for visual impact.

The editable field for current setting is a color picker field. (learn how to use a color picker)
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer copyright details

Setup here your copyright details (input the name of your company). This name will appear in copyright line in footer at the bottom-left (FRONTEND).
The copyright notifies others that the content of the website is protected by copyright; it identifies the owner/creator of the content and lists the year of first publication (see Footer copyright start year below).

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer skype name

The footer can be customized with your business Skype name.
The Skype name is the name based on which somebody can find / call you on Skype.
The Skype name will appear displayed under company contact information grouped on right side of the footer.
If the field is empty, the skype name will not be shown in FRONTEND.

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer copyright start year

The copyright line is usually completed with the year when the company was founded or the year when the company had its first website. (see Footer copyright details bellow)
This setting require only the starting year and the current year will be added automatically by the system. Is no need to be updated each year.
The year you write here will appear in copyright line and will be completed with the current year. It is displayed in footer at the bottom-left (FRONTEND). If the line is empty, in copyright line will appear only current year.

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer SSL provider logo

The generic image of Safe & Secure line at the top of the footer can be replaced with the logo provided by your SSL certificate provider. This settings allow you to customize he SSL logo. (see Show above footer line above)
The SSL certificate (Secure Sockets Layer) is an encryption between the user browser and your website. The information between your website and user is secured and any website (especially ecommerce website) should have this security in place.
The Fast Delivery and Safe & Secure line is displayed (if applicable) at the top of the footer on the length of the website (FRONTEND).

The editable field for current setting is an image uploader. (learn how to use the image uploader)

Information - show [About]

Here you can set if you want the About page to be listed in footer menu under Information section.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the About page to be shown under Information section.
If checked No button means that the About page is not displayed under the footer menu in Information section.
The Information section is displayed (if applicable) on the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Information - show [Terms & condition]

Here you can set if you want the Terms & condition page to be listed in footer menu under Information section.
The Terms & condition page is recommended to be part of your website, as this page regulates the usage of the website.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Terms & condition page to be shown under Information section.
If checked No button means that the Terms & condition page is not displayed under the footer menu in Information section.
The Information section is displayed (if applicable) on the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Information - show [Privacy]

Here you can set if you want the Privacy policy page to be listed in footer menu under Information section.
The Privacy policy page is recommended to be part of your website, as this page regulates the way you handle your customers information of the website.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Privacy policy page to be shown under Information section.
If checked No button means that the Privacy policy page is not displayed under the footer menu in Information section.
The Information section is displayed (if applicable) on the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Customer Services - show [Shipping]

Here you can set if you want the Shipping policy page to be listed in footer menu under Customer Services section.
The Shipping policy page is recommended to be part of your website, as this page regulates the way you handle the shipping of the items sold from website.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Shipping policy page to be shown under Customer Services section.
If checked No button means that the Shipping policy page is not displayed under the footer menu in Customer Services section.
The Customer Services section is displayed (if applicable) on second column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Customer Services - label for [Shipping]

You may want a label for Shipping Policy. An example of such label can be Shipping and Returns. The Shipping page is listed under Customer Services section - on second column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Extras - show [New Arrivals]

Here you can set if you want the New Arrivals page to be listed in footer menu under Extras section.
The New Arrivals page should be displayed only in case you have new arrivals in website.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the New Arrivals page to be shown under Extras section.
If checked No button means that the New Arrivals page is not displayed under the footer menu in Extras section.
The Extras section is displayed (if applicable) on third column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Extras - show [Special Prices]

Here you can set if you want the Special Prices page to be listed in footer menu under Extras section.
The Special Prices page should be displayed only in case you have specials in website. (See Product variants for more information.)
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Special Prices page to be shown under Extras section.
If checked No button means that the Special Prices page is not displayed under the footer menu in Extras section.
The Extras section is displayed (if applicable) on third column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

Show [featured] products link

Here you can set if you want the featured products page to be listed in footer menu under Extras section.
The featured products page should be displayed only in case you have featured products set into website. (See Product details for more information.)

If checked Yes button means that you enable the featured products page to be shown under Extras section.
If checked No button means that the featured products page is not displayed under the footer menu in Extras section.
The Extras section is displayed (if applicable) on third column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

Show [bulk discount] products link

Here you can set if you want the bulk discount page to be listed in footer menu under Extras section.
The bulk discount page should be displayed only in case you have such discounts set into website. (See Product variants for more information.)
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the bulk discount page to be shown under Extras section.
If checked No button means that the bulk discount page is not displayed under the footer menu in Extras section.
The Extras section is displayed (if applicable) on third column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

Show [upcoming] products link

Here you can set if you want the upcoming products page to be listed in footer menu under Extras section.
The upcoming products page should be displayed only in case you have upcoming products set into website. (See Product details for more information.)
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the upcoming products page to be shown under Extras section.
If checked No button means that the upcoming products page is not displayed under the footer menu in Extras section.
The Extras section is displayed (if applicable) on third column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


My Account - show [Order History] (if user is logged in)

Here you can set if you want the Order History page to be listed in footer menu under My Account section for easy access.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Order History page to be shown under My Account section. The user have to be logged in for the Order History to be displayed.
If checked No button means that the Order History page is not displayed in any circumstances under the footer menu in My Account section.
The My Account section is displayed (if applicable) on forth column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND). If applicable, the Order History page is displayed only if the user is logged in.

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


My Account - show [Help & Support] (if user is logged in)

Here you can set if you want the Help & Support page to be listed in footer menu under My Account section. This page appears only if the user is logged in. If user is not logged in the page link will direct the user into My account page to log in.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
If checked Yes button means that you enable the Help & Support page to be shown under My Account section. The user have to be logged in for the Help & Support to be displayed.
If checked No button means that the Help & Support page is not displayed in any circumstances under the footer menu in My Account section.
The My Account section is displayed (if applicable) on forth column at the left side of the footer (FRONTEND). If applicable, the Help & Support page is displayed only if the user is logged in.

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Footer contact address

"Footer contact address" is used to display company address in easy accessible manner.
This address is displayed in FONTEND on the right side of the footer along with phone, email and social media links (if applicable).
If the field is left empty, the address will not be displayed.

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer contact phone

"Footer contact phone" is used to display company phone in easy accessible manner.
This phone is displayed in FONTEND on the right side of the footer along with address, email and social media links (if applicable).
If the field is left empty, the phone will not be displayed.

The editable field is text field.
To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Footer contact email

"Footer contact email" is used to display company email in easy accessible manner.
This email is displayed in FONTEND on the right side of the footer along with address, phone and social media links (if applicable).
If the field is left empty, the email address will not be displayed.
