Settings & layout - Signup military application

The OLALA Shopping Cart is suitable for businesses which deal with military and government organizations as clients. Apart from access level and prices level, the system include a military application, an application which collects information based on which the website owner can make a decision about approving or not the submitted application.
Before doing any setting in Signup military application, you have to set YES the Use military setting under Global (system wide).
Here the military and government organizations application will be name Signup military application. You will be able to name this application at your discretion into the frontend of your website.
This settings area is about customizing this kinds of applications page and emails.

To setup or change a setting, click the Edit button in line with that setting. A pop-up window will open to allow you to input your data.
The window has as title Edit setting to let you know you are in edit zone. Also this window always points out the Area and the Name of the setting you are going to change. The main point of this window is to allow you to write your details in regards with current setting. This is the only editable field. Add or make here the changes you need.
The editable fields in this area are: text field, text editor and radio button controllers.
Click the Update button to make the change or click the Cancel button to abandon changes. The Update button and Cancel button will close the setting window and update the list accordingly.
The Close button (top right corner) has same result as Cancel has.


Enable military application

This setting is about enabling or not the military and government organizations applications. This will allow you to customize your website to fit your business model. In case you have military and government organizations customers, simply enable this application for new such customers. You then can follow up the applicant and decide if it is legitimate. In this way you will easy differentiate your customers.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
- If checked Yes - means that you enable the military and government organizations application.
- If checked No - means that you disable this application. If this application is disable, none of following setting in this area will have any affect, so no further customization in this area is required.

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Application name

This setting is about giving a name to your military and government organizations application.
This setting has only effect if the Enable military application above is set Yes.
The name you set here will be part of the application button name (Apply for + application name at your choice) and title of application itself (application name at your choice + Application).
Example of Application name: "Military account".

My account option name (user menu, my account area)

Set the name of the option in menu, when user is login and was approved military account. It is the place where the user can update its military details.
Example of such option name: "Military details"
It appears in My account area on menu when an approved military user is log in (FRONEND).

The editable field is text field.

Email signup - TO email address (website owner)

Set the email where you want to receive the military application.
You may want to separate the military applications from other emails or you may delegate a person to follow them up. You can choose the email address where these emails are handled.

The editable field is text field.

To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Enable user after submit application (prior approval user has consumer access)

This setting is about enabling or not the military and government organizations applicants to have consumer account prior application approval. By enabling this means that these users will have access to their account (consumer account) and they will be able to buy products at retail price immediately. If you approve their application, their account will be upgraded accordingly and after approval their access level and price level you may change. If you decide that their applications are rejected, you can allow them to remain as consumers or you can disable their account if you consider that are not legitimate customers.
The editable field is a radio buttons control.
- If checked Yes - means that you enable the applicant account (consumer account) at the moment he or she is submitting its application for military or government account.
- If checked No - means that you do not allow applicant to have any kind of account prior approval of his / her application.

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Automatically login after signup (valid only user is automatically enable)

This setting is about website behavior when a user submits a military application.
This setting is applicable only if the Enable user after submit application (prior approval user has consumer access) setting is YES. - If checked Yes - means that you the military applicant is automatically login after he/ she is submitting his / her application (consumer account).
- If checked No - means that the military applicant have to log in into his / her account after submitting his / her application to access his / her consumer account (to buy products).

The edit window will close automatically after you choose your answer. In case you did a mistake, edit again and choose the correct answer. The setting will be updated automatically.


Redirect page after submit application and login - valid only user is automatically enable, example: products. Leave empty to stay on page and show message.

This setting is about redirecting the user after submitting his / her military application when Automatically login after signup is set Yes.
If this setting is empty, in front of user will be displayed a message with directions about the application status and what to expect next.
Write the page relative URL, only the text written after your domain name in URL (last segment).

Example of URL path for this setting:

  • the URL full for my Product page is http://www.YOUR_DOMAIN/products/ than I have to write just products to redirect user in Products page.
  • if the page to redirect user has more than one word in its name; redirecting users in New Products page the full URL is http://www.YOUR_DOMAIN/products/new-products-f7/, but I need to write only /products/new-products-f7/ or products/new-products-f7 to redirect user in New products page.

This setting is optional. If the field is left empty, the user will be redirected in a default page where a message with directions about user account status is displayed.

This setting is about redirecting the user after submitting his / her military application when he / her is not log in.
If this setting is empty, in front of user will be displayed a message with directions about the application status and what to expect next.

Email signup - Subject

Set the email subject for your military application.
It appears on automated emails when a military application is submitted (applicant and website owner email).
The editable field is text field.

To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Email signup - welcome text (top)

This setting is about informing the user about the status of its application.
It appears on the welcome automated emails sent by the system after the military applicant submit his / her application.
Example of such message: "Your application was successfully sent. "
The editable field is text field.

To setup or change this setting, click the Edit button. Add or alter the input in pop-up window. Click the Update button to make the change and close the pop-up window or click the Cancel button to abandon changes.


Email text if user is disabled after submit application

This setting is about informing the user about the status of its application and what will happen next. This setting should be used when Enable user after submit application above is set No. This means that you do not allow user to have any account prior approval of his / her application.
It appears on the welcome automated emails sent by the system after the military applicant submit his / her application.
Example of such message: "You will not be able to use this website yet. / Please wait for our response. "

The input area for this message is a text editor to allow you to format your text if applicable. You can write on more than one line.

Email signup - ending line

This setting is about the last message on automated military application email.
The message will appear at the bottom of automated emails sent to user when submits a military application.
Example of such message: "You will get our replay as soon as it is possible. / Thank you "

The input area for this message is a text editor to allow you to format your text if applicable. You can write on more than one line.

Email signup - signature area

In "signature area" you input the text you want to appear at the bottom of the automated email received by user when submits a military application as form of email sign off.
It appears at the bottom of the automated Welcoming email sent to user.
Example of such message: "Regards / Customer Service "

NOTES
To enable the Enable military application in Signup military application, first you have to set in Global (system wide) the Use military to be YES.

NOTES
These options are optional.
In case you do not sell to military and government organizations, simply disable the military application. This means that the military application will not be available for your website.
If military application is disable, none of following setting will have any affect, so no further customization in this area is required.
